I’m an Associate Professor of Economics at Swarthmore College, studying behavioral and public economics.

My areas of interest include pro-social behavior, development, and personal finance decisions. My work primarily involves running randomized field experiments with a variety of partners in the US and abroad (including the City of Philadelphia, the World Bank, and the US Agency for International Development).

In addition to my position at Swarthmore, I am a founding member of the Philadelphia Behavioral Science Initiative, a Senior Researcher at the Applied Cooperation Team, a Research Affiliate at the Busara Center for Behavioral Economics, and Vice President of BEEMA (Behavioral and Experimental Economists of the Mid-Atlantic) for 2019-2020.
